“You’re the kind of person who would mug an old lady on her way back from the post office just like poor Mrs Hannet down the hall. She thinks it was someone she knew, but then again, who do you know here nowadays?  Wearing a mask he was- she didn’t see his face. What? How does she think it was someone she knew? ‘Cos he said ‘Give me all your money, Mrs Hannet.’ “

“A FUN AND ENTERTAINING PLAY FULL OF ENERGY. THE ACTORS, THE MUSIC AND SOUND EFFECTS GET TO PORTRAY THE MIX AND VARIETY OF CHARACTERS YOU ENCOUNTER IN EVERYDAY LONDON”. **** – REMOTE GOAT REVIEW

Theatrical Partners in Crime presents, Barry Burns

barryburns

Sam Bevitt is teaming up with prominent actor Ryan Mathie to create to wonderfully bizzarre character of Barry Burns. Dressed in a jazzy 80s-style one-piece, Barry has left his job as a photocopier repairman to persue his all time dream of becoming a dancer. What’s your excuse?

Tired of being stuck in a dead-end job, Barry has aspirations way above his situations.

Due to perform at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, “Barry Burns” will be appearing at various venues across London in the build-up to next summer, so watch for updates of where he is next doing a ’set’.

Due: February 2010 – August 2011

Animation: ‘Stobart’s Company’

In my day, we would have won a war in thirty minutes…we weren’t home for Christmas, we were home for the second half of the Bertie Mullins Show on the wireless…

Sam Bevitt is teaming up with film-maker Will Gilbert to produce the debut comedy clay animation of ‘Stobart’s Company’- an exploration into pre-Great War colonialism in Britain. Retired Naval Commander Stobart sits with his comrades General Musings and Fester the walrus as the three reminisce about times gone by.  The production is currently in a set-building process, so expect photos in the next few weeks marking its progress.

Due: April/May 2010.
